 Situated in the village of Brookhouse in the parish of Caton-with-Littledale this 17th century Coaching Inn is ideally situated for the Lune Valley or those travelling to/from the Lake District or Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Just 3m from the M6 (J34), with petrol station en-route, why not enjoy a relaxing alternative to a Motorway Service Station break (Forton, Burton-in-Kendal, Killington Lake and Truckstop) at sensible prices.

Coach parties are always welcome but prior arrangement is advised, and we cater for preset menus if required. The Inn is exceptionally clean inside and out and very high standards of service are offered at all times by experienced staff who have been with us over seven years on average; the proprietors run their own business and are not just managers. We also have disabled access and toilets. Children are welcome and all children's meals cost £2.95, we also serve a range of lollys, cornettos, choc-ices etc. all for under a pound. Why not have a drink or a meal outside and listen to the trickle of the Bull Beck that runs right next to the beer garden. This friendly, family run Inn is the heart of the community, the traditional 'village pub', and any visitor will not be disappointed; a public house as it used to be and should be.
